Family and Local History Fair

Cathedral House, St Thomas’ Road, Huddersfield, HD1 3LG

Admission £3.00 Accompanied children under 16 free.

There is plenty of free car parking space at Cathedral House.

Cathedral House cafe open all day.

Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced family history researcher, or maybe interested in local history, there will be something for everyone.

All the different societies and organisations that attend these events, are always very keen and willing to help with advice and guidance on what to look for and where to look, offering helpful hints and tips, based on their own personal experiences.

The Huddersfield and District Family History Society will have our own researchers, society members and committee members on hand, to help and advise. We will have our computers, with our own database installed, on hand for anyone who would like to have a search done on the day. The Society will also have the full range of transcribed Parish Register & Census booklets and CD’s available to buy.

Several Raffle prizes will be on offer including one years Membership of the Society plus others to be confirmed.

All proceeds from the event will be used to help further the aims of the society.
